February 14, 2026: A valuable post returning to TaoGuBa. Those who understand the value, read it; those who don't, ignore it.
I looked at my last post, which was on October 11, 2024. It’s been 16 months since then. Why haven’t I written even a single post on Taoguba during such a long period? Because I am a working professional, and I am very busy. When I get busy, I even don’t have time to sell a profitable stock using stock trading apps on my phone. But no matter how busy I am, driven by my interest in the stock market rather than a desire to get rich quickly, I almost review the market every day. However, I truly don’t have time to post hundreds or thousands of words on Taoguba every day. [Taoguba]
If you just want to get wealth from the stock market but don’t like trading at all, I advise you to quit early.
If you are interested in the stock market but can’t tolerate mechanical review and the slow process of daily and monthly accumulation, I advise you to quit early.
If you are interested in the stock market, have perseverance and the right methods, but can’t accept the fact that the final outcome might be inescapable, I advise you to stop in time.
Remember: Stock trading is only suitable for those who have a strong interest in the stock market, an endless desire for financial freedom, are willing to settle down and learn day after day, month after month, to reflect and improve, and even if they ultimately fail, they have no regrets. Besides that, the process and the outcome are most likely to be painful.
In these months, I have continued to operate around the core themes and key stocks of the market. As I mentioned before, I am a working professional, so methods like doing first-limit-ups or second-limit-ups, which require full attention from the opening auction, are all abandoned. Instead, I focus on the big picture and do relay trading with the most core stocks:
Pingtan Development is undoubtedly a leader across the Taiwan Strait. My first entry was on October 31, 2025. Reason for entry: After a core stock in the main theme hit a continuous one-word limit-up and then broke the limit but was absorbed with high volume, the next day’s divergence turned into consensus, which was a clear entry point for continued upward movement. The second entry was on the limit-down day of Pingtan Development’s first decline, buying at the limit-down. Since the rebound the next day was weak, I still had expectations, so I did a T+0 trade the following day, and sold when the stock turned red again. The third entry was on December 16, 2025, reason: Before December 16, the stock had been consolidating with decreasing volume and small steps, and I predicted an upward trend afterward.
Aerospace Development is the absolute leader in commercial aerospace. My first entry was on November 19, 2025. Reason: A core stock in a major theme, with three advances and four, still represented a safe buy point, acting as a relay at a mid-low position for the leader. The second entry was on November 21, 2025. Reason: After just five consecutive limit-ups, the stock hit a limit-down. This decline was very likely not the start of a sector retreat but just a significant divergence at a low point. Therefore, I bought at the limit-down, and when it opened lower the next day, I added to my position. The third entry was on November 28, 2025. On November 27, I stayed up until after 1 a.m. reviewing and basically predicted that the full recovery and a second wave of the aerospace development sector would start the next day. So, my buy point on November 28 was preemptive, not for chasing the limit-up. The chart below shows my buy point.
Shunhao Co., Ltd. was a theme of space computing power in commercial aerospace at that time. My first entry was on December 31, 2025. Reason: The core concept of space computing power. The stock was the most active in the morning at 9:30, hitting the limit-up. After buying Shunhao Co., Ltd. and seeing it hit the limit, I noticed Tongyu Communication was following closely. If Shunhao hit the limit without strong market sentiment that day, it risked opening down. Conversely, Tongyu Communication’s limit was very solid, and I found that Shunhao’s upward movement was limited by abnormality, while Tongyu had more room to rise. I regretted not entering Tongyu that night. The next day, Tongyu’s auction exceeded expectations, while Shunhao underperformed, so I sold immediately. (My principle: If I buy and don’t like it, I sell at the first opportunity.)
I caught the first wave of Tongyu Communication’s sideways breakout. Later, I missed the wave led by Chen Xiaoqun, which was frustrating.
Xinvie Communication made money three times.
China Xidian’s recent operation can be analyzed. At that time, due to strict regulation, commercial aerospace experienced a forced retreat, and many people got burned by Hige Communication. During this period, it’s important to see if there are other themes with some sustainability to transition into. This is just a transition, not an immediate replacement for commercial aerospace. When the national policy announced a 4 trillion yuan investment plan in electricity, China Xidian, as a leader, experienced a big decline the next day but then quickly recovered with reduced volume. Pay attention: a large downward candle with increased volume indicates aggressive selling, but a rebound with reduced volume and a limit-up shows strong bullish sentiment, so there’s still expectation. I did a T+0 on that day because after China Xidian surged, the smaller stocks like TBEA, Sanhe Tech, and Boda Electric didn’t follow, indicating a pullback was expected. So I sold high and bought low accordingly.
Silver Nonferrous had a move that many people think was lucky. If I had sold the next day, I would have faced three consecutive limit-downs. I want to say, I never make impulsive trades. Every move is based on analysis, weighing risks and rewards. On that day, I bought Silver Nonferrous because I predicted it would open sharply higher the next day, providing an exit opportunity. Even if futures declined that night, unless it was catastrophic, Silver Nonferrous would still give a chance to exit the next day. Why buy at a high on that day? Because many people overlook that on January 28, 2026, precious metals didn’t peak at the open but gradually surged. Many didn’t notice that Silver Nonferrous wasn’t fully capped at the open; at 9:30, the order book was thin and kept opening and closing, yet the overall market for precious metals was strengthening. This pattern of peak is relatively safe—meaning, on January 28, 2026, the retail traders didn’t dare to chase, but they wanted to, so the next day, a big gap up was very likely.
I don’t like chasing the late movers, but I do trade clear breakout plays like Bofei Electric. Sometimes, I dislike chasing top signals, so I sell immediately at the auction.
Here’s some practical tips:
Tip 1: Brothers who got caught in Hige Communication’s three limit-downs—have you ever wondered if those three limit-downs were truly unfair?
The recent rise in commercial aerospace, along with the market rally from December 17, 2025, to January 12, 2026, was followed by regulatory actions promoting a slow bull. The regulatory measures included placing stocks with abnormal movements into a supervision pool, which meant funds avoided abnormal stocks and continued to chase high. Then, regulators started suspending high-flying stocks. Finally, they began a “pump and dump” style crackdown, with sharp declines, halts, or continued suspensions. During this period, many still tried to find high-flying stocks that could bypass the regulation. Do you think regulators are fools? Don’t they know small tricks like avoiding abnormal stocks? I noticed Hige Communication avoided abnormal movements and still had room to rise, but considering regulatory pressure, I believed it would be warned or suppressed, so the risk was huge. I decided to either stay out or do high-low cuts. That’s why I traded Bofei Electric—based on this reasoning.**
Tip 2: Brothers who got caught in three limit-downs on Silver Nonferrous—was that unfair?
The precious metals sector peaked on January 28, 2026. The next day, divergence was expected. The core stocks on the peak day were expected to open sharply higher the next day, with potential for further gains. So, January 28 was a buy point. But when buying Silver Nonferrous or re-adding on the next day’s rebound, pay attention:
Issue 1: It was a divergence day after a high peak, not a low. The risk is higher because Silver Nonferrous had already hit 8 limit-ups by January 29. Going higher from 8 limit-ups is risky—such stocks are in the “妖股” (monster stock) range. The higher the stock, the riskier it is to participate, especially after a sector has already surged to a high level and then peaks again. It’s best not to chase on the next day.
