To enhance leverage options and optimize fund utilization for Unified Account users, we are introducing a gradient leverage borrowing of up to 20x for individual currencies. This feature supplements the standard 1x, 2x, and 3x leverage levels currently available. Now, you can set a specific leverage borrowing for each currency based on its debt scale, up to its allowable maximum. The corresponding initial margin requirement will be based on the leverage borrowing you select. If no specific leverage multiplier is set for a currency, the system will default to the global leverage setting of 1x, 2x, or 3x.
The leverage borrowing chosen will also influence the gradient limit: selecting a lower the leverage, the higher the loan limit. To increase the gradient limit, you only need to lower the leverage setting.

The first set of currencies to support gradient leverage borrowing will officially launch on October 30th. For currencies not yet configured with gradient leverage, the maximum borrowing for each level remains at 3x. Additional currencies will be added to the gradient leverage configuration gradually, allowing for high-leverage trading as liquidity permits. Stay tuned for further announcements.
The new gradient leverage borrowing applies to both cross-currency margin mode and portfolio margin mode.
