**April 25, 2025 Cryptocurrency Market Analysis: Bitcoin Gearing Up to Challenge the 100,000 Mark, Short-Term Volatility Risks Remain
Today, Bitcoin continues its strong performance in recent times, oscillating in the range of $90,000 to $94,500. Market sentiment continues to heat up, but caution is needed for short-term pullback risks. The Trump administration has paused pressure on the Federal Reserve and committed to lowering tariffs on China, boosting market risk appetite. BTC briefly touched $94,500, rising to become the fifth largest asset globally. However, due to strong resistance near $95,000, if BTC cannot effectively break through, it will likely retest.
Institutional funds continue to flow into Bitcoin ETFs, with total net assets approaching $100 billion. At the same time, the exchange's BTC supply has dropped to its lowest level since 2018, indicating strong reluctance to sell among long-term holders. From a technical perspective, if it breaks through 95,000 in the short term, it may open up a pathway to $100,000. However, it should be noted that market sentiment has entered an overheated zone, and if there are no further catalysts (such as interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve or favorable policies), it may maintain high-level fluctuations in the short term.
Ethereum follows BTC's rise but with a weaker increase, currently falling back to around $1740, with key support below at $1700. Gold prices have reached a new high of $3500. Historical data shows that after gold breaks through, BTC often welcomes a new round of increases within 100-150 days. If this pattern repeats, Q3-Q4 of 2025 may become a critical breakthrough period.
**Investment Advice**: In the short term, you may follow BTC if it breaks through 95,000 USD and consider going long. ETH may have layout value if it pulls back to around 1700 USD. With increased market volatility, it is recommended to control your positions and closely monitor policy trends and capital flows.
