ETH was officially launched on July 30, 2015, and its first recorded trade was on August 7, 2015 at ~$2.83 per ETH. In the months following its launch, the price of ETH fell, dropping to ~$0.45 in October 2015. By the end of 2015, it was up ~$0.93, up ~32% from its opening price.
