Google launches AI mode search for American users
[Google Launches AI Mode Search for US Users] Google (GOOG.O) announced on May 20 local time that starting today, all US users will be able to activate “AI Mode” in Google Search and the Chrome browser. AI Mode is a tab in search where users can interact directly with AI models, similar to ChatGPT. Google positions the product as a space where users can ask more complex questions and delve deeper. Over time, Google will introduce features from the AI model into AI Overviews, using AI to answer some questions on the search homepage.
