Mitsui Sumitomo Financial Group (SMBC), one of Japan's three major banks, announced the opening of a new business co-creation hub "HOOPSLINK" in Marunouchi, Tokyo, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, Web3, Quantum Computing, stablecoins, and AR applications. This hub aims to promote co-creation of new businesses between large enterprises and startups, and to accelerate the implementation of SMBC's existing stablecoin-related research into concrete projects.
