This morning's opening was quite interesting. The fall trend line for ETH on the four-hour chart and Trump's "harsh words" from this morning both hit at the same time—one from the technical side, the other from the news side. As the market is in conflict, many are torn: will ETH surge to 3090 today or break down to 2810? Let's break it down.

From a news perspective, Trump's logic is quite representative. He believes that "good news does not lead to increases" is abnormal, criticizing the Federal Reserve for its rigid thinking. Although the words are blunt, they reflect a real issue: the current global financial markets are suffocated by fears of interest rates, and positive economic fundamentals are being suppressed by expectations of rate hikes.

This is a double-edged sword for the cryptocurrency world. In the short term, it is indeed not looking good—uncertainty in traditional finance is spreading over, and capital will be more cautious. Risk assets (including our cryptocurrencies) will find it very difficult to rebound. So don't expect a single piece of news to save the market; the downward momentum of ETH is not so easy to resolve.

But from another perspective, these remarks subtly point in one direction: the Federal Reserve's attitude may become more dovish. Once liquidity really loosens, it will be a significant variable for medium- to long-term asset pricing. The problem is that this is still just an expectation, not an immediate opportunity.

Looking at the technical side is more direct. In the context of a falling trend, any rebound is just a "bait". The 4-hour chart has not yet given a reversal signal. What is needed at this stage is patience, not rushing to catch the bottom.

Ah, here we go again, a double whammy from news and technicals, I love this thrilling feeling. Trump's rhetoric sounds like a hint at point shaving, but we in the crypto world all know that sweet talk is not as solid as real money. I feel like we still need to wait, don't mess around before there's a reversal signal on the 4-hour chart. I still haven't crawled out of the pit from March.

Buy the dip? The on-chain data hasn't shown a bottom accumulation yet, why are retail investors so anxious?
