ngl, the "market rewards prepared people" thing is empirically speaking just survivorship bias wrapped in motivational packaging. actually been watching these cycles long enough to know most stop-losses get liquidity hunted before the real move happens

A pullback is a signal to cut losses; I'm best at that.
Sounds nice, but it's really just luck.
Who actually sets stop-losses?
2026 is still early; let's just survive this year first.
Another new year, new beginnings—every year I say the same.

That's right, every dip is just the same old story of bottom-fishing playing out repeatedly.
Corrections follow the usual pattern; as long as stop-losses are set properly, there's no need to be afraid.
Setting a New Year's goal is easy; sticking to trading discipline is the real challenge.
Being well-prepared can indeed lead to profits, but I'm the kind of person who plans thoroughly and still ends up losing.
But the key question is whether there will be a big market move in 2026.

Here we go again with this rhetoric. Every time there's a pullback, it's called an opportunity. So why did last year's opportunities all result in losses?

A pullback is an opportunity to get in. I already bought the dip long ago.

That's right, whether you've set your stop-loss or not is all nonsense.

That's right, I'm just worried that I'll get caught at the top again then.

Well said, I'm the kind of person who just goes for it without much preparation.
A pullback is my signal to add to my position, regardless of stop-loss.
Can it double in 26 years? I'm in.

The pullback is happening again. Will we be able to buy the dip this time...
