Electric Coin Company, the long-term core developer of Zcash, announced its departure on January 8th. This decision stems from disagreements between the team and the Zcash Community Advisory Board regarding strategic direction. The team, which has been leading Zcash technology development since 2016, plans to continue privacy technology research and development by establishing an independent entity. This personnel change marks an important adjustment in the governance structure of the Zcash ecosystem and also reflects the potential divergence between the core team and community decisions in the development of decentralized projects.

Another big team has run away, this time Zcash can't hold on either. ECC said goodbye and left, this is the cost of decentralization. Building a team and community with different minds, in the end, everyone goes their separate ways. So can the privacy coin track still be played out... If the team leaves, can the project remain stable? It doesn't seem very promising. Now I finally understand what it means that many hands make light work; one person alone isn't enough. Is the Zcash ecosystem going to be reorganized? Is it still worth watching the follow-up? Another case of a founding team and community tearing apart, seen too often. But ECC is quite determined, directly going solo with privacy development. Happy breakup, everyone. The ZEC market probably will decline.

Another big decentralized show, the core team left and now they want to establish their own platform.

It's the same old trick again, the core team and the community are at odds. Splitting up is nothing new in crypto. ECC founding a new entity to continue privacy? Basically, they just don't want to listen to community interference. ZEC is now in trouble, the architect has left, what’s left? Decentralization is like this—once true power is distributed, it can actually lead to chaos.

Once again, the core team has run away. Is ZEC going to fail?

Damn, ECC just walked away without warning? That's true decentralization haha --- Another community disagreement, this routine is seen too often in the crypto world --- The outlook for privacy coins is worrying, brother --- Wow, the leading team for eight years just decided to leave --- Now ZEC is in trouble, the core developers have split up --- Strategic disagreements ultimately require someone to compromise, ECC chose to leave --- Resigning and rebirth, sounds nice, but in reality, it’s just a breakup --- The cost of decentralization, no one can truly have the final say --- Internal conflicts in the privacy track are happening again

Another big show, ECC just walked away with a slap on the butt --- Privacy coins are really no longer competitive, each going their own way --- Wait, isn't this the cost of decentralization? Laughing to death --- The core team leaving to establish an independent entity, this routine is too familiar --- Can Zcash still be saved? It feels a bit uncertain --- Community governance has gone off the rails, it's rare for the foundation to fall out with developers --- Leaving to work on privacy technology, seems like a wise choice --- This is what true decentralization looks like, but it can't escape power struggles --- With ECC gone, who will stabilize the Zcash ecosystem? --- Another "democratic decision" sacrifice, ultimately it’s a conflict of interest

It's the same old "difference in philosophy" script again. ECC says let's go, so what else can Zcash do?
