People's genes are different, and the amount of sleep needed varies depending on daily work, life stress, and fatigue levels. A long-standing saying is that sleeping 7 to 8 hours a day is associated with longevity. Rather than saying that sleeping 7 to 8 hours leads to a longer life, it's more accurate to say that if your life is very relaxed, sleeping 7 to 8 hours each day is enough.
