Are Alibaba aiming at Feishu? The DingTalk building has replaced the Wukong logo with a "stick out your head" motif, symbolizing the idea of "hitting the bird that sticks out."
TechWeb, February 5 — Recently, the logo on one side of DingTalk’s headquarters building in Hangzhou has been changed from “DingTalk” to the mascot DingSanDuo “Wukong” image, looking across at the Feishu logo on the neighboring building.
Netizens commented that it is said the DingTalk CEO thought the Feishu logo was taller than DingTalk, overshadowing DingTalk, so they decided to remove the DingTalk logo and replace it with Sun Wukong.
Many netizens joked that DingTalk is trying to “beat the bird that sticks out,” to diminish Feishu’s prestige. It’s definitely a bit of a “feng shui” move.
In fact, the Wukong image originates from the Wukong Agent released at the AI DingTalk 1.1 “Mulan” version new product launch and ecosystem conference in December 2025. DingTalk positions it as an enterprise-level agent management platform, the AI chief steward.
At the launch event, DingTalk CEO Chen Hang (alias: Wu Zhao) stated that the goal of Agent OS is to make DingTalk an AI-native platform, “In the future, all AI Agents on DingTalk will be built and operated based on Agent OS, enabling AI to connect directly to the physical world.”
It can be said that this logo change is a high-profile strategic announcement. As for the face-off with Feishu’s “beat the bird that sticks out,” it’s truly an excellent coincidence.
