In late January 2026, key statistics show that steel enterprises produced a total of 21.28 million tons of crude steel, with an average daily output of 193,500 tons, a daily decrease of 2.2% compared to the previous day; pig iron reached 19.15 million tons, with an average daily output of 174,100 tons, a daily decrease of 3.0%; and steel products totaled 21.30 million tons, with an average daily output of 193,600 tons, a daily increase of 3.2%.
