Defying the trend to prove true strength: Zhuque Road bidding at a glance reveals gold

Today’s bidding opening immediately felt pessimistic. The entire market had only three one-word stocks, two of which were mergers and acquisitions, and the remaining one, Shaanxi Black Cat, was within expectations due to yesterday’s surge in coal prices. Today’s enthusiasm for buying was very low, and trading volume shrank by 3048 billion compared to yesterday. Today’s market performance completely followed the direction we predicted yesterday. The core photovoltaic sector’s strongest stock, Shuangliang Eco-Energy, did not meet expectations in bidding, and today the photovoltaic sector also became a heavy casualty of limit-down stocks. It can be said that today’s market has no hot spots; the slightly stronger news was “Mainland will resume travel for Shanghai residents to Kinmen and Matsu in the near future.” In the past, such news wouldn’t even catch our attention, but now it has become the market’s strongest direction, showing how weak the market really is. Funds are also extremely pessimistic. Yesterday’s two short positions, Hunan Silver and Silver China, opened lower yesterday and were pressed to the floor again today, exhausting the remaining buying enthusiasm. So today’s market looks like it’s just giving up. Even so, in this environment, I was still able to identify a limit-up stock during bidding, which is quite rare. [Taogu Ba]

Thursday’s Operations:

Focus on GCL System Integration: Before the market opened, I shared that today I would mainly adopt a defensive stance. However, because of the news yesterday about “Elon Musk inspecting photovoltaic companies,” which attracted a large influx of funds, and last night’s batch of clarifications that hit the sector, leading to today’s divergence. But the actual positive news for this sector exists, so I identified GCL System Integration as exceeding expectations during bidding today and paid attention. GCL System Integration is a pure representative of this logic.

Review: **Yesterday afternoon, the GJ team’s move put us in a passive position. It looked like a bullish candlestick, but combined with the trading volume that day, it felt insincere. Looking at the chart, you can tell it was just a trick to fool outsiders. So, our decision not to go long yesterday was correct. Today’s bidding clearly shows the market is just giving up. Yesterday, I specifically said that the market was in an arbitrage process. If you’re a little greedy, you won’t know who’s trapping whom. For example, yesterday during bidding, Silver China was bought at the lowest point, but by the close, it was trapped for 9 points. Today, it opened with a -8 gap, and if you sold well, you could take away three or four points; if not, all profits are gone, and you might even lose on fees.

Market Trend: On Thursday, 1588 stocks rose, 3462 fell, 44 stocks hit the limit-up, and 15 hit the limit-down. The overall strength is 40, with a sideways trend. Based on the above market data and combined with Zhuque Road’s expected system analysis, there will still be divergence movements tomorrow, as panic selling has not yet fully emerged.

Minor Trend: Currently, the index remains highly controlled, and precious metals show no signs of stopping their decline, having broken new lows today. The market also lacks clear catalysts, so we still prioritize defense and wait patiently for the market to give clear directions before participating.

Sentiment: Today’s market sentiment is very low. The number of stocks hitting the daily limit-up is only 10, of which 3 are restructuring stocks, so effectively only 7. The number of limit-down stocks is 15, even more than yesterday. For example, even if Silver China was bought at the lowest point yesterday, it’s very likely to be losing money today. Hunan Silver, even if bought at the lowest point yesterday, probably also lost money today. The strongest core photovoltaic stock, Shuangliang Eco-Energy, drove the sector higher yesterday, but today it didn’t even participate in bidding and even opened lower, which is far below expectations. These situations are all negative feedback for sentiment.

Currently, the market performance has no hot spots that make me want to keep thinking about it. I won’t force myself to write opinions that even the market doesn’t agree with, so I simply can’t write anything—really can’t.

Summary: Seeing today’s bidding confirms the pessimism I held yesterday and also proves that my defensive decision today was wise. The small tricks in yesterday’s market were not fooling Zhuque Road. Looking back at the market now, there’s not even a little enthusiasm for going long. But opportunities often arise from despair. If you don’t pay close attention to the market during such conditions, it will be too late when the market suddenly surges. The good opportunities will be gone, and you’ll just watch the one-word board rise day by day, just like last year’s Deepseek market. So, no matter how desperate the market, never give up. We must always keep thinking about it. Every day’s reflection is an accumulation of experience and a growth in understanding the market.

The core of Zhuque Road’s system is only five words: Momentum (determines whether to buy or not), Hotspots (determines what to buy), Rhythm (determines when to buy or sell).

  1. Momentum. “Momentum” is the simplest yet most overlooked truth in the stock market. What is momentum? It’s not the red or green of candlesticks, nor the golden or death crosses of indicators, but the direction of fund consensus, the trajectory of sentiment flow, and the tide of fundamentals resonating with policies. Momentum is the ultimate carrier of all trading logic.
  2. Hotspots. Once the momentum’s direction is clear, we no longer follow the market blindly. When the wind is favorable, where should we aim our bullets? The answer is hotspots. Hotspots are a three-dimensional presentation of fund consensus because the essence of the stock market is driven by funds, and hotspots are the strongest magnets for attracting funds. Retail investors who don’t understand hotspots will always be paying for others’ bull markets. In A-shares, never waste too much time and money on non-mainline stocks. Ninety percent of your profits will come from the hotspots you participate in.
  3. Rhythm. Rhythm is the top-tier art of trading. It doesn’t tell you what to buy but answers the soul-searching questions every trader has: When to enter? When to exit?
