JD.com's European online retail business Joybuy will launch in March, already offering same-day and next-day delivery in the UK.

It is reported that during the trial operation period, relying on JD.com’s supply chain and logistics capabilities, Joybuy has achieved same-day and next-day delivery in several cities in the UK.

According to Tech Home, currently, JD.com is accelerating the development of its international business. JD.com’s European online retail business Joybuy has begun trial operations in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. JD Logistics has operated over 130 various types of overseas warehouses in 23 countries and regions through the “Global Network Plan,” managing a total area of over 1.3 million square meters, and has opened dozens of international freight routes.

In December last year, JD Logistics’ first overseas intelligent warehouse, the Zhilaowang Warehouse, was officially put into operation in the UK. Relying on JD.com’s efficient super supply chain, Joybuy can deliver to UK consumers as quickly as on the same day.

As an automated benchmark warehouse for JD Logistics’ layout in the UK, this Zhilaowang Warehouse covers an area of over 3,000 square meters and is equipped with nearly 200 JD Logistics Zhilaowang robots. Thanks to the high efficiency of these intelligent devices, the warehouse’s picking and outbound efficiency has increased by approximately four times.
