The deceptive green DASH candle: Are whale data warning you of an upcoming trap?
Don’t be fooled by the simple price reflection. While small traders celebrate seeing a green candle on the chart, something entirely different is happening deep in the market. Whale data tells a different story—a story of an organized trap waiting for those who didn’t read the map correctly.
Whale Activity Reveals the Truth Behind the Rise
Current DASH data paint a very alarming picture. Currently, there are 127 whales with open short positions and they are in profit, while 101 whales on the other side are suffering floating losses exceeding one million dollars. This is no coincidence. Smart money is quietly buying from small traders rushing to enter at every small upward point.
The current price is $34.95 with a -15.72% drop in 24 hours, but this decline was not uniform. There were limited upward jumps, and now the price is trapped between support and resistance forces, exactly where whales want it.
Where Will the Candle Close? Critical Levels for Confirmation
The main resistance awaits around $63.60 - $65.00, where the price tests the important EMA99 average. This level is not random—it’s the crossover that will decide whether this rise is real or just a trick.
The actual confirmation signal comes when the candle closes clearly below $61.50. At that moment, you’ll know the rise was a illusion, and what looked green will turn red.
Trading Plan: From Entry to Target
Based on this analysis, the expectation is a clear downtrend. The next phase will see renewed selling pressure as late entrants realize they bought at the current top.
The next price target is $55.00, an area that may experience a deeper correction. The reason is simple: trapped buying whales will be forced to surrender their losses, generating an additional wave of selling that pushes the price downward.
The concentration of funds (39.10% in Top 100 addresses) indicates that whales have full control over the DASH candle. This suggests that upward movements may be just tactical liquidations before a larger collapse.
Always DYOR, and remember that data speaks louder than words.
