In the last few days and weeks we found out that corporate adoption or ETFs did not matter at all. Thanks to the ETFs, Bitcoin made an earlier ATH prior to the halving however the duration of the cycle from the bottom to the top did not change at all. Bitcoin is already more than 50 percent down from the cycle top. Now, we will find out if the bear market is going to last as long as the previous ones and if we have the cycle bottom in Q4 of the midterm year, or if Bitcoin is going to do something different and find its bottom earlier.On my end the cycle was terrible. I started with the right moves but couldn\'t make them count. I bought major altcoins in 2023, but couldn\'t make much profit out of them because I held them too long. I was bearish after the pre-halving ATH until Q4 2024, and made a good amount of money back then. I earned PIXEL from the airdrop and also bought some with a conversion trick pre-listing but was so blindly in love with it that I didn\'t sell any when it got to $1. It is now worth half a cent, unfortunately.I bought the "right" altcoins in the August 2024 dip, but did not take any profit although they were up by 5-10x in December, because I thought that the altcoin cycle was just starting.Unfortunately, for the first time in the last 20 years, the US didn\'t print money. The economic system changed and I was too blind to predict it. Today, I sit still with my altcoins waiting for the next cycle. At least, none of them rugged their projects. It was a veeeeery expensive lesson but I learned sooooo much during this cycle. Hopefully, it will help me take better actions when the opportunity arises.
