The supplier for the "brain" of the domestically produced wide-body aircraft C929 has been confirmed.

Aojie Avionics and China Commercial Aircraft Corporation officially signed the “Intention to Cooperate on the Avionics Core Processing System for the C929 Project” during the Singapore Airshow, marking the confirmation of the domestic wide-body aircraft “brain” supplier. The C929 aircraft is China Commercial Aircraft’s first independently developed long-range wide-body aircraft, with the avionics system equivalent to the aircraft’s “brain and central nervous system.” Aojie Avionics was jointly established by GE Aerospace and AVIC Group, and has previously been the supplier of avionics systems for the domestically produced C919 aircraft.
