BlackRock's spot Bitcoin fund IBIT reached a $10 billion trading volume during a session when Bitcoin lost about 15% of its value in a single day, shattering its previous one-day record.
BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) traded shares worth $10 billion on Friday, setting the highest daily trading volume of all time. Experienced ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that the fund's price dropped 13% on the same day, marking the second-largest daily loss since its launch, and described the situation as "brutal."
