Yang Mu, Director of the Market Operation and Consumer Promotion Department of the Ministry of Commerce, introduced at the State Council Information Office press conference on the 11th that according to monitoring from key e-commerce platforms using big data, since the launch of the New Year Goods Festival, as of February 8th, the national online retail sales reached 989.73 billion yuan. Among them, the popularity of online service consumption continues to rise, with online catering and online tourism increasing by 11.5% and 5.3%, respectively. (Shanghai Securities News)
