In response to the Palestinian side’s accusation on the 4th that the Israeli military halted the evacuation of wounded persons from the Rafah border crossing, Israel denied this claim on the same day. The Israeli Ministry of Defense’s “Coordination Office for Government Activities in the Territories” issued a statement stating that the Rafah border crossing was open as usual that morning, and Israel fully complied with the relevant agreement commitments. Regarding the issue of wounded persons being unable to pass through, Israel stated that the World Health Organization, as the agency responsible for coordinating the arrival of Gaza residents at the border, has not yet submitted the necessary coordination details due to “procedural reasons.” Israel said that once it receives the coordinated information that meets the requirements, it will immediately allow patients and their accompanying persons to enter Egypt. The World Health Organization has not responded to Israel’s remarks. (CCTV News)
