The three major U.S. stock indices closed mixed, with most large technology stocks declining.
The three major U.S. stock indices closed mixed, with the Dow up 0.1%, the Nasdaq down 0.22%, and the S&P 500 up 0.05%. Most large tech stocks declined, with Apple down over 2%, Google and Meta down more than 1%, Microsoft and Amazon slightly down, Netflix up over 1%, and Tesla slightly up. Popular Chinese concept stocks showed mixed performance, with the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index down 0.10%. Zai Lab rose over 6%, Tencent Music increased more than 4%, Huya and Yum China rose over 3%; Jinko Solar, Canadian Solar, New Oriental, and Kingsoft Cloud fell over 2%.
