Abstract generation in progress

The National Healthcare Security Administration issued a notice today that, in order to further strengthen the management of designated medical institutions for mental health coverage (including psychiatric departments in general hospitals, hereinafter referred to as mental health designated medical institutions), and to strictly crack down on illegal and irregular use of medical insurance funds, all provincial-level healthcare security departments are required to organize collective interviews with the main persons in charge of all mental health designated medical institutions within their jurisdiction by the end of this week. These interviews will include the promotion of laws, regulations, and regulatory policies related to medical security. At the same time, based on recent media exposure of issues at some mental health designated medical institutions in Xiangyang City and Yichang City, Hubei Province, as well as problems identified during previous medical insurance spot checks, warning education will be conducted. This aims to reinforce awareness among mental health designated medical institutions to legally and compliantly use medical insurance funds. (CCTV News)
