China Net Finance and Economics, February 9 — Recently, one of the world’s snack companies, Mondelez, has received numerous awards in industry associations, local governments, and international authoritative evaluations. It was named one of the “Top 10 Companies in the Baking Food and Confectionery Industry (Cookies),” awarded the “2025 Top Enterprise Contribution Award” and the “2025 Outstanding Contribution Award for High-Quality Development” in Xuhui District, Shanghai, the “2025 Foreign Investment Contribution Award” in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and was also listed on Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list. These awards fully demonstrate Mondelez’s outstanding performance in industry leadership, economic contribution, and social value.

Mondelez Greater China President Joost Vlaanderen said, “This is not only recognition of our deep cultivation of the Chinese market in the past but also an encouragement for our continued development here in the future. China is not only one of the most dynamic consumer markets globally but also provides a broad stage for multinational companies like Mondelez, thanks to its strong economic resilience, continuously upgrading consumer demand, and increasingly optimized business environment. We remain confident in China and will continue to grow together with the Chinese economy and create a better future with consumers.”

Centered on consumers, Mondelez actively integrates local culture and promotes product innovation and upgrades. During the Spring Festival shopping season, several brands including Oreo, QuduoDuo, Taiping, and Xianqu launched a series of Spring Festival gift boxes that incorporate traditional Chinese culture and creative design. Meanwhile, Mondelez continues to iterate its core product lines, launching new products such as Oreo Thin Crisps, and expanding categories through collaborations, including chewing gum with “Xuanmai Dongpeng Special Drink Flavor,” and creating branded cakes like Oreo Filled Cloud Cake, Oreo Double-Layer Cheesecake, and Luyi Chocolate Butter Tart to meet diverse market needs.

In terms of supply chain construction and channel expansion, Mondelez China relies on “Lighthouse Factories” and the Beijing Factory’s intelligent warehousing center to vigorously promote production automation and energy-saving initiatives, building an efficient and sustainable supply chain system. Additionally, Mondelez has increased investment in emerging channels such as O2O, lightning warehouses, and snack chains to enhance distribution capabilities.

As a foreign enterprise rooted in China for many years, Mondelez China actively fulfills corporate social responsibility while promoting business growth and deeply integrating into local community development. Starting from March 2025, Mondelez will provide psychological support, fitness activities, training, and other enriching programs for the community where its Shanghai headquarters is located, effectively improving the well-being and sense of belonging of local employees.
