CFFEX: Announcement on Restricting Position Opening for Certain Clients
The Shanghai Futures Exchange issued a notice that on February 4, 2026, three groups with actual controlling relationships exceeded the daily opening trading volume limit on related contract accounts, reaching the exchange’s handling threshold. The trading behavior of the above clients violated Article 16 of the Measures for the Administration of Abnormal Trading Behaviors of the Shanghai Futures Exchange. The exchange has decided to impose restrictions on opening positions for the relevant clients on the corresponding contracts.
