X Product Manager: Plans to update API policies to ban applications that create fee pools without authorization
Odaily Planet Daily reports that X product lead Nikita Bier posted on the X platform stating that spam emails regarding “claim fees” are an extremely dishonest viewpoint. Nikita Bier pointed out that once a developer engages in such behavior, every subsequent reply will be plagued by demands to raise prices throughout their career. Nikita Bier explicitly stated that he plans to update the API policy to ban applications that create fee pools without user consent.
