Secretary of State Marco Rubio reassured Europe that the US has no intention of ending the “transatlantic era.” He made the comments during a keynote speech at the Munich Security Conference, a year after Vice President JD Vance’s combative remarks at the same event. “For us Americans, our home may be in the Western Hemisphere, but we will always be a child of Europe,” Rubio added.
