Chicago wheat futures fell about 1.1%, soybean oil dropped over 0.9%
On Monday (February 23), in after-hours trading in New York, the Bloomberg Grain Classification Index fell 0.55%, closing at 30.3660 points. It remained steady around 30.40 points before the US stock market opened, then experienced a surge followed by a pullback. CBOT corn futures rose 0.23%, CBOT wheat futures fell 1.08%. CBOT soybean futures increased 0.23%, reaching $4.4075 per bushel; earlier, at 00:23 Beijing time, it hit a daily high of $4.45. Soybean meal futures declined 0.51%, soybean oil futures rose 0.93%. CBOT lean hog futures increased 0.08%, live cattle futures fell 1.16%, feeder cattle futures declined 0.99%. ICE raw sugar futures rose 1.19%, ICE white sugar futures increased 0.42%. ICE Arabica coffee futures dropped 2.24%, Coffee “C” futures fell 2.61%. Robusta coffee futures declined 0.78%. NY cocoa futures fell 1.04%, closing at $3,145 per ton. London cocoa futures dropped 2.68%. Chicago WCE canola futures rose 0.25%. ICE cotton futures declined 0.62%.
