WLFI plans to develop a tokenized luxury resort in the Maldives
On February 24, multiple sources disclosed that the crypto project supported by Trump, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), plans to build a luxury resort in the Maldives featuring 100 beach and overwater villas, with tokenized financing during the project development phase. WLFI stated that this move will open the early-stage “high-profit development returns” of commercial real estate to token holders, and the related tokens are expected to provide investors with fixed returns and loan income sharing. Trump’s second son, Eric Trump, commented, “Very excited to bring the Trump Organization to the Maldives and to combine these two amazing worlds—the physical assets and digital assets. WLFI will lead this process!”
