Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on the 19th regarding the first meeting of the so-called “Peace Committee,” stating that any political arrangements concerning the future of the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian people must be based on the complete cessation of Israeli aggression, lifting of the blockade, and safeguarding the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
