According to Caixin, the High Court of the United Kingdom held a two-day asset disposal hearing from February 16 to 17. Over 11,300 Chinese victims intend to submit claims for recovery to the UK authorities, but this only accounts for 8.8% of the 128,409 victims. The UK recovery registration deadline is May 22. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) previously announced that it has initiated civil recovery proceedings under the UK's Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), and clarified that relevant rights holders can submit claims including those under POCA Section 281 to the High Court of the United Kingdom.
