Ukrainian Presidential Office Chief: This round of Ukraine-U.S.-Russia trilateral talks was constructive
Ukrainian Presidential Office Chief Andriy Yermak stated on February 5th local time that this round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia was constructive. He thanked the United States and the United Arab Emirates for providing high-quality organization and coordination services for the negotiations. Earlier, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said that the second round of trilateral talks between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine had concluded. On February 4th local time, the trilateral talks between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine, originally scheduled for last weekend, were held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This was the second round of talks held in Abu Dhabi by the security working group composed of representatives from the three countries, following the first round held from January 23rd to 24th. After the first day of talks on the 4th, Ukraine described the trilateral talks as “productive,” while Russia said it would continue military actions until Ukraine makes a “decision” sufficient to end the conflict.
