Strategy (ex-MicroStrategy) reported the purchase of another 17,994 bitcoins for $1.28 billion between March 2 and 8 at an average purchase price of $70 946.
As of March 8, Strategy's balance includes 738,731 bitcoins (more than 3% of the total supply), which the company has spent approximately $56.04 billion on since 2020.
The company's average purchase price is about $75 862 per 1 BTC. At the time of the report, the bitcoin rate was below this level (around $68 thousand).
