I never understood before why Nvidia is so badass, why everyone is buying Nvidia stocks.

After using Claude for a few days, I finally figured it out.

Tokens are really expensive, man. Nvidia isn't selling graphics cards, they're selling power generators.

Simply put, every industrial revolution has one thing that gets burned through like crazy.

First Industrial Revolution - the steam engine came along. The steam engine itself wasn't valuable, what was valuable was the coal that made it run.

Second Industrial Revolution - electricity came. Electricity is invisible and intangible, but it changed everything. Every country started building electrical grids. General Electric was once the most profitable company in the world.

Third Industrial Revolution - oil came. Internal combustion engines, airplanes, ships all needed oil to run. Oil was the consumable of the Third Industrial Revolution.

Now in the AI era, tokens are like the coal, oil, and electricity of back then. Nvidia could become the most profitable company in the world. That's why SoftBank keeps investing.

Yesterday I saw a friend input 5 million tokens without doing anything and it was already that much.

Chinese - around 1 million input costs roughly $25, and you burn through $100 a day.

No wonder Nvidia and OpenAI need to build data centers. This thing is basically your own equipment burning electricity and pumping water - an incredibly profitable business.

It's insanely lucrative!!!!
