BREAKING: Epic Games announced the layoff of 1,000 employees after acknowledging that participation in Fortnite has been declining since 2015, a decline that, according to CEO Tim Sweeney, has led the company to spend significantly more than it is earning.

Epic Games will lay off 1,000 employees, according to a memo published by the company itself.
