Having reliable mobile communication while traveling abroad is really important, right? Recently, I’ve tried various international SIM services, and honestly, the choice can significantly impact the comfort of your trip.
When comparing price, data speed, and how easily speed restrictions are applied, my top picks are World eSIM and Glocal eSIM. Especially in Korea and Hawaii, you can stream videos smoothly, and it’s great that there are no restrictions even when using a lot of data. They feel more stable among international SIM options.
Ubigi offers excellent speed and pricing in Hawaii, but in Korea, it can be slower than expected. eSIM square has good data speeds, making it suitable for video streaming enthusiasts. TRAVeSIM is attractive because it’s affordable across all regions, but streaming videos might feel a bit sluggish.
DHA SIM supports fewer countries, but in those it covers, it’s among the cheapest options. Airalo is especially cheap in Thailand and offers additional discounts with promo codes. However, overall, the speed can be somewhat lacking. Holafly has attractive prices, but browsing SNS and other activities can sometimes be slow.
SkyeSiM and Trifa are personally lower on my list. They tend to be more expensive, and SkyeSiM’s speed restrictions can be inconsistent. Trifa is good for avoiding restrictions, but the overall cost nationwide is high.
When choosing an international SIM, it’s best to decide based on your destination and length of stay. Even the same service can have vastly different speeds and prices depending on the country, so I recommend checking these details in advance before making a purchase.
