Gate is turning 13, and the anniversary merch drop might be the most compelling reason to start posting seriously this April.
Let me be straightforward: the leaderboard prizes are not typical digital rewards. The top 3 positions earn the Gate 13th Anniversary Limited Edition Gift Box a physical collectible that will not be reprinted. Positions 4 through 10 receive the Gate x Red Bull co-branded jacket, which is the kind of item you actually wear. Positions 11 through 100 get T-shirts plus high-value experience vouchers. The formula is simple post quality content, engage consistently, climb the board. Every post also triggers a red packet with a 100% guaranteed reward for first-time posters.
So here is my contribution to the leaderboard: a real market read on the three coins that define this space right now.
---
BTC — Current Price: 68,842 USDT | 24h Change: +3.12%
Bitcoin is running volume today that most weeks do not see. The 24-hour Fear and Greed Index sits at 13 deep fear territory yet price is up 3.12% with the 24-hour high touching 69,597. That divergence between extreme sentiment and actual price action is worth watching closely.
The technical structure is genuinely interesting right now. On the daily chart, a double-bottom formation confirmed on April 5 after price held support twice near 66,610 and broke above the neckline. The daily MACD just printed a golden cross the DIF line crossed above DEA for the first time in weeks. The daily SAR is positioned below the candles, confirming the daily timeframe is in a multi-day bullish structure.
The complication is the short timeframe. On the 4-hour chart, both CCI at 253 and Williams %R at -9.75 are deep in overbought territory. RSI on the 4-hour touched 70.66. Bollinger Bands are at the tightest point in 30 days a squeeze that historically precedes a decisive directional break. The direction of that break is the real question.
On the macro side, Metaplanet bought 5,075 BTC in a single week and is now the third-largest corporate Bitcoin holder, with a publicly stated target of 100,000 BTC by year-end. Michael Saylor declared that the four-year cycle is dead and that price is now driven by capital flows rather than halving mechanics. Whether you agree with that thesis or not, the institutional accumulation pattern it describes is visible on-chain. Multiple large anonymous addresses moved over 400 million USD worth of BTC through major exchanges across April 2 and 3 the kind of positioning that does not happen quietly.
Key levels: 66,610 is the confirmed support from the double-bottom. 69,597 was today's high and the immediate resistance. A clean break above 70,500 with volume would confirm continuation. A failure to hold 67,000 reopens the range down to 64,500.

ETH — Current Price: 2,121 USDT | 24h Change: +4.23%
ETH is outperforming BTC today by roughly 1.1% in relative terms up 4.23% versus BTC's 3.12%. The 30-day return is 9.51%, which is the strongest 30-day figure of the three coins in this post.
The setup mirrors BTC in several ways. Daily double-bottom confirmed. Bollinger Bands at the 30-day minimum width same squeeze, same change-is-coming signal. Daily SAR is below the candles. The 4-hour MA7 just crossed above MA30 for the first time in the current cycle, printing a golden cross on that timeframe.
What is different about ETH is the structural backdrop. The Ethereum Foundation has flipped its historical sell posture completely. They staked over 70,000 ETH in February through early April, bringing their total staked position to approximately 143 million USD. That is a fundamental removal of what was a persistent overhead supply concern.
Bitmine's Tom Lee bought 82 million USD of ETH in a single session on April 4 alone. Bitmine now holds approximately 3.92% of the entire ETH token supply. Fidelity purchased 140 million USD of ETH through their ETF while BlackRock sold 285 million the net flow was negative on paper, but the Fidelity buy signals that institutional demand is not uniform, it is divergent, which means price discovery is still active.
The technical risk is the same as BTC: 4-hour CCI at 276 and WR at -8 are as overbought as they get. Short-term positioning is crowded. The question is whether the structural narrative foundation staking, institutional accumulation, ETF maturation overrides the short-term technical heat. In past cycles, when supply removal coincides with institutional buy pressure, it tends to.

GT — Current Price: 6.49 USDT | 24h Change: +0.30%
GT is the honest read here. The 24-hour gain is modest at 0.30%, the 30-day return is -6.75%, and the daily chart shows a clear head-and-shoulders formation completing near 6.62. The daily ADX at 34.66 with MDI leading PDI confirms the downtrend is technically in force.
There are two counterpoints worth noting. First, the daily MACD is showing a divergence price printed a new low versus the prior candle while DIF held higher, which is a classic early reversal signal. The 4-hour SAR is positioned below the candles at 6.35, so the immediate floor is defined. Second, volume expanded today alongside the small gain that combination is not typical in a pure downtrend.
GT's relevance in April specifically is the Gate 13th anniversary context. The anniversary gift box that tops this leaderboard is a Gate-native collectible. GT is the native token of the same ecosystem. If the anniversary event drives platform engagement which the leaderboard competition structure is clearly designed to do there is a plausible correlation between event activity and GT attention. That is not a price prediction. It is a narrative overlay worth tracking.
The support to hold is 6.35. Below that, the picture changes. Above 6.62 with follow-through volume would invalidate the head-and-shoulders reading.
---
The merch is real, the data is live, and the leaderboard resets daily. The scoring formula rewards both consistency and engagement posting across multiple days compounds at 1.2x, community interaction compounds at 1.3x. One strong post is not enough. A week of strong posts is how you compete for that anniversary gift box.
