Abstract generation in progress

Revolut has received a MiCA license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), allowing it to provide regulated cryptocurrency services across all 30 markets in the European Economic Area (EEA). This license supports Revolut's expansion into the crypto market as they prepare to launch the new generation platform “Crypto 2.0,” allowing access to over 280 tokens, free staking with yields up to 22% annually, and converting stablecoins to US dollars at a 1:1 rate with no spreads.

The company will use regulatory allowances to expand crypto trading, staking, and stablecoins, while integrating with Visa/Mastercard and the low-fee trading platform Revolut X. Revolut currently serves over 65 million customers globally, about 40 million in Europe, and is targeting the crypto derivatives market for institutional clients and expanding banking licenses in the region.
