Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reports that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced it will not release the October non-farm payroll report and stated that the employment data from the business survey originally scheduled for October will be merged into the November report. This merged report is scheduled to be released on December 16, which means that Fed officials will not have access to this critical data during the last policy meeting of the year (the Fed's interest rate decision will be announced at midnight on December 11, Beijing time). The agency pointed out that the October household survey data used to calculate key indicators such as the unemployment rate cannot be collected retroactively. The U.S. non-farm payroll report consists of two parts: the household survey and the business survey, with the business survey used to compile non-farm employment data. The agency also stated that it will extend the data collection period for the November household survey and business survey.
