Galaxy Research: The encrypted VC market rebounded in the second quarter, and the financing environment was more active than in the previous few quarters
Odaily Planet Daily News Galaxy (GLXY) Research stated that the cryptocurrency venture capital market has continued its rebound trend in the second quarter of this year, and the financing environment is more active than in the previous few quarters. The report stated that the number of venture capital transactions decreased from 603 in the first quarter to 577, while investment capital increased from $25 billion in the second quarter to $32 billion. The median investment transaction size slightly increased to $3.2 million, but the "pre-investment valuation median value soared close to historical highs" to $37 million. This indicates that the recovery of the cryptocurrency market in the past few quarters has led to "fierce competition among investors and fear of missing out (FOMO)" (Coindesk).
