Abstract generation in progress

On October 26, Jinsuan Data reported that Meta Platforms announced on Friday that its AI chatbot will use Reuters’ content to provide real-time answers to users’ questions about news and current affairs, marking the latest collaboration between a major tech company and a news publisher in the field of artificial intelligence. Both Meta and Reuters’ parent company, Thomson Reuters, have not disclosed the financial details of the collaboration. This will be the company’s first news transaction in years. After facing criticism from regulatory agencies and publishers over false information and revenue sharing disputes, Facebook’s parent company has been reducing news content on its services. A Reuters spokesperson said in a statement, ‘We can confirm that Reuters has partnered with a technology provider to license our trusted, fact-based news content to power their AI platform. The terms of these transactions remain confidential.’
