The transitional government has deployed security forces in many places

On December 27, Jinshi Data reported that the Syrian transitional government deployed security forces in multiple cities in Syria to maintain social order in response to protests and casualties in various parts of Syria. According to reports, on the 26th, the Syrian transitional government deployed troops to maintain order in various parts of Syria, including Damascus. The Ministry of Interior of the Syrian transitional government stated that unidentified organizations are causing violent incidents, and the transitional government’s troops are protecting religious sites in Syria. Previously, on the 25th, demonstrations broke out in Damascus, the western coastal region, and many other places in central Syria, protesting the destruction of a holy site of the Alawite sect in Aleppo. The Alawite sect is a branch of Shia Islam, and the Assad family comes from the Alawite sect. On that day, demonstrators were shot and many people were killed or injured. The Syrian transitional government implemented a temporary curfew in Homs and other places.
