Dominating the list of the world's richest people in 2024 is Elon Musk, the so-called "first buddy" of US President-elect Donald Trump, whose close relationship with Trump has helped his companies skyrocket, bringing his fortune to an unprecedented $442.1 billion, an increase of $213 billion from the beginning of the year.
