Jin10 data reported on October 12th that, according to the latest reports from Reuters, AFP and other media, Pakistani officials stated that after an exchange of fire between the two countries' military forces late at night, Pakistan closed its border crossings with Afghanistan on the 12th. Reuters reported that local officials indicated that the two main border crossings between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Torkham and Chaman, were closed that day, and at least three secondary crossings had also been shut down. As of the time of publication, Afghanistan had not yet responded to this.
