Justin Sun, the founder of TRON and cryptocurrency entrepreneur, has expressed deep condolences regarding the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong on November 26, 2025, which resulted in at least 94 deaths in several high-rise apartment buildings. Sun stated that he will make a personal contribution to support the reconstruction and bounce back efforts after the tragedy.

This move aligns with his previous charitable activities, including millions of dollars in donations for COVID-19 relief programs and various other community initiatives. Sun also calls on the Web3 community to join in supporting the victims.

However, public reaction remains divided. Some acknowledge the efforts to contribute and call for a spirit of solidarity, while others argue that this could be a move to boost one's profile, reflecting Sun's controversial image amid the backdrop of facing multiple allegations related to cryptocurrency fraud.
