Currently, the global market is at a crossroads, amid rare and highly significant policy divergences. On one side, the US Fed has cut interest rates to support slowing growth. Conversely, the Bank of Japan (BOJ) is moving in the opposite direction, raising interest rates to levels not seen in three decades.
The question facing investors now is no longer whether these measures are important, but which policy will ultimately have a greater impact on global liquidity, currencies, and the crypto markets.
On December 19, the BOJ raised its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 0.75%, the highest level since 1995. This marks another step away from decades of ultra-loose monetary policy. Macro analysts see this move as more than just a small change.#FedRateCutPrediction $BTC
