The 2026 Davos World Economic Forum will be held from January 19 to 23 in Switzerland, with the theme of "The Spirit of Dialogue." It attracted nearly 3,000 political and business leaders from over 130 countries, setting a record for government participation. Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng put forward four key proposals, including firm support for free trade and the maintenance of multilateralism, emphasizing that China will continue to inject stability into global growth. This year's forum focuses on the large-scale application of AI technology, with executives from companies like Microsoft and NVIDIA discussing the impact of AI on economic restructuring. They pointed out that AI is deeply integrated into fields such as healthcare and manufacturing but warned of the risks of technological bubbles. Geopolitical confrontation was listed as the top global risk, with the US and Europe engaging in fierce clashes over trade disputes. French President Macron called for the construction of a "New Independent Europe." During the forum, the "Global Lighthouse Network" report was also released, adding 16 Chinese "Lighthouse Factories," showcasing achievements in smart manufacturing transformation.
