#美伊核谈判风波 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio publicly stated that reaching an agreement with the current Iranian regime is "uncertain," and that it does not represent the Iranian people. Satellite images confirm that the U.S. military has deployed at least 12 F-15E fighter jets and 9 A-10 attack aircraft at Al Muwafaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Nuclear negotiations are still scheduled to take place on February 6th (Friday) in Oman.
Before the talks, the U.S. deliberately lowered expectations, setting high thresholds for negotiations or paving the way for possible failure. The military deployment is a maximum pressure tactic against Iran to strengthen bargaining chips and prevent conflict if the talks break down.
Internal suppression of protests in Iran continues (multiple reports mention this), weakening the U.S. confidence in reaching a sustainable agreement with Iran.
It is likely that the talks will end in failure or only reach a fragile technical consensus. The Middle East military standoff will continue to escalate, with a significantly increased risk of localized friction or misjudgment. The prices of precious metals reflect market concerns about this, and the global financial markets are not immune!
