It’s crazy how agenda-driven liars are spreading misinformation about Dubai.
So instead of quoting any news sources, let me share my personal experience: I personally know several dozens of people who moved to Dubai post-Covid. Not even one of them has gone back.

Since the beginning of the unrest, the UAE authorities have been doing such exemplary service for all residents. It should serve as a role model to governments everywhere.

Nights are my friend.
Nights are my enemy.
The friend puts me to calm loving sleep.
The enemy doesn’t let me.

There is some silver-lining here and there, but on the whole I am seriously disappointed with global news media’s coverage of the middle east situation. Journalism is dead.

In markets, as in war, when a panic arises, participants feel compelled to “do something.” Without regard to whether this something makes sense, or could in fact be counterproductive.

Newer and newer forms of scams.
In general, if somebody ask you for information, money, or to click a link, beware.

Over the years, I've noticed something interesting.
When founders ask too many people for input,
it's rarely about perspective.
It's usually uncertainty.
Advice is useful.
But if five conversations leave you more confused than before,
the issue may not be the advice.
It may be the absence of a framework.
A simple filter I often use for bigger decisions:
1. Is it reversible or irreversible?
2. What's the real downside if I'm wrong?
3. Does this align with the longer-term direction?
Once the criteria are clear,
opinions become inputs, not the direction.
Question:

I guess this can only be a very positive sign.
A flight has taken off from Abu Dhabi to London a short while ago.
I hope this marks a beginning of things setting down

The situation being what it is, I must admire and appreciate the government of UAE. Really. The way they are handling the situation, I give them a score of 100 out of 100. Thank you.

Am at Dubai Marina.
There’s something new in the skies today. There are sounds I am hearing today that I haven’t heard before. The windows are cackling messages that they haven’t spoken before.
But all is good. And all will be better.
Am filled with gratitude at the great life I have had the good fortune of living. So much love. So much respect. So much learning. Very grateful for it all 🙏

I have never ever purchased a wrist watch. Up until today.
I’ve studied wristwatches for the past 3 years. It started as a curiosity, then I started getting interested in the financial side of it, then I pursued the brands, and finally started developing an opinion.
And today I mustered the courage to actually buy one for myself. It will be delivered to me later today if things go as scheduled.
Look forward to me posting a picture, if I have the guts to do so.
