the metals are moving very quick. closed my position early to secure my profit. my analysis is to short but i clicked the long in excitement. thankfully, since it's very volatile, i snagged profit immediately before it got liquidated in my original analysis.

my long positions in perp futures got a very long red candles. this is unprecedented for me but the good thing is, i also hold an ETF on short so it basically earned for me even if my perp hit sl.

for me, personally, I agree. banks asks for interest from your money and it's a hassle process before you get your cash again. while in bitcoin, there's no interest rate and you get to turn it into cash anytime. ☕✨$BTC

This year, I remain dedicated to my original goal of holding more $GT. I will continue using the app and aim to trade more. I am excited to try trading ETFs this year after enjoying futures and alpha features on Gate. May my portfolio continue to prosper with Gate. I'll also strive to post consistently on Gate Square whenever I have the time, especially with the new features available. I am particularly fond of the AI image creator for posts and tokens.

2025 has been a prosperous year for me because that's the year I stumbled upon gate. It was on one invite event that I was invited to join the community and never left. With gate, I built my portfolio from the first ever $GT I held that I got from keeping my rank at superuser event and been a consistent winner, also joining more events within all gate community. Closing the year, I already learned a lot about cex, experienced and enjoyed events, and earned a lot with gate.

the new look of gate square looks even more clean and intuitive.
there's a lot of smarter and more interactive posting update. it's easier to add and highlight a topic in a post. then there's also an easier wag to tag a coin which can be tapped by readers to make it easier for them to go and trade the coin analyzed in a post.
one of my favorite update is the bullish and bearish icon that now can be used to label a token we are analyzing in a post. it's really helpful.
but what i like most in the update, is now I can save a draft. I can take my time to edit and

btc and eth both slightly recovered. avalanche launched a $200m initiative, solana partnered with wavebridge for krw, and umbra token increased 5x after fundraising - lots of developments and partnerships! on the macro side, amex partnered with ripple, brazil protected crypto from taxes, and the us is seeking $14b related to a crypto scam. it's a mix of regulatory news and partnerships.
